Preseli Storm Basketball Club

The name Preseli Storm represents the origins of the club from it's days based in the leisure centre in Ysgol y Preseli, Crymych, Pembrokeshire.

In 2006 the club moved its base to Dyffryn Taf School, Whitland but maintained its original name. Since the move to Whitland, Preseli Storm Basketball Club has grown to become the largest basketball club through Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire.

All players from all age groups are welcome to join the club. Currently the youngest player is 10 years old and the oldest... well lets just say they are in their late 40's!

Despite many recent successes and the rapid growth of the club the primary ethic remains 'fun'. No matter what you may be seeking to achieve through basketball Preseli Storm has always offered a platform based on 'fun & enjoyment'. This ethic will always be at the core of what we do!

Preseli Storm are very closely linked to the West Wales Tropics Basketball Club, who share the same venue in Whitland. Many of the Preseli players play for both clubs as The Tropics offer a higher standard of competition through the South Wales Leagues. Preseli Storm are members of West Wales Basketball and of Basketball Wales.
